Sad is it not? The latest deaths in Taldou near Houla that have shocked the world is still being decided on as to who is to blame, claims that less than 20 of the deaths resulted from government forces the remaining deaths that involved the killing of very young children seem from all accounts to lie with the Shabiha pro-Assad men so by all accounts the blame should lie yet again with “Bashar” al Assad, but hey no says Bashar” al Assad I can lie through my teeth as easy as drinking tea and boy does he play his part well, well another reason for getting rid of him I suppose as he seems to know very little of what goes on within his own country, so how is the story falling with you? To all Syrians who are by all accounts aware of just how their own country operates, does it ring true that “Bashar” al Assads military might paved the way for loyal to “Bashar” al Assad Shabiha who are by all accounts Alawites to enter into Taldou and slaughter Sunni Muslims ? Or is it as “Bashar” al Assad view that this is just a set up and that Sunni rebels, Sunni freedom fighters or just plain old Sunni terrorists went into Taldou slit the throats or shot by close range 49 Sunni children, 34 Sunni women and 25 Sunni men just to upset the peace process in Syria? Give me a break, what is more shocking is a picture that will now unfold once civil war is declared in Syria, it will be every man for themselves, every tribal vendetta, every religious faction going off on one and what will this have to do with the freedom of Syria? Absolutely nothing retribution will be its name, Sunni's having years of repression under an Alawite Shia father and his son, game on another Iraq here we come yet again or another lawless state like Libya has now become, go on throw in the rest of the latest revolutions Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia and the like, but what will be the biggest question in Syria now is it to become Sunni rule or Shia, Iraq was under Sunni rule to be taken over by Shia with an alls fair in love and war but in the end resulted in more deaths than it was worth with the Americans and the Brits backing out from a state that still suffers to this day from suicide bombings and the like.
Syria is a unique country by all accounts it has so many religious factions, can it ever hope to live in peace? Well not while it is the proud owner of just as many secret police and militia, it is ok just sitting there and thinking once “Bashar” al Assad is out of power all will be well, when in fact things could not be further from the truth, once “Bashar” al Assad‘s gone you really think all Syrians will be able to sleep peacefully in their beds?
The status quo at the moment stands with “Bashar” al Assad saying quit your arming of the rebels while I stand by receiving ships loaded with weapons from Russia, you can hardly expect the rebels to put up with that, so as I have said before “Bashar” al Assad if you really want to prove your point get your military to stand back and if by doing so the rebels/freedom fighters force themselves upon your defence points get your men to back off and run, show the rebels as the aggressors even at a price, the whole idea of a truce is that neither side shows themselves as the aggressor, so back off let them come, if the death toll is shown to be coming up as a lost to yourselves won’t you then be proving to the world as you were right and start to receive the moral support as the wronged here? This we are having to do to defend ourselves story is getting a bit lame, and you can cry this will result in deaths, well sure it will just as it is already with so many women and children dying from it who just happen to be anti-Assad people, it is not as if the any of your women and children are getting their throats cut and shot at close range is it? Go on Mr President “Bashar” al Assad take your chances, let’s even the score show them naughty rebels/freedom fighters and terrorist’s one inch and prove us all wrong!
God bless Kofi Annan he needs it.
