AN ODE TO A BUTTERFLY
Such a short life span with your beauty you do bring
Fluttering in and out of the flower’s as the birds sing
It’s as if you dance as the song birds make the music
Among the differently scented flowers that you pick
Each one sort after for their colour of a different hue
Each one sort after for their honeysuckle nectar dew
Such gentleness as not to disturb natures‘ own plants
And to us the beauty that nature does to us all grants
One should spent - as much time as one is able to give
To such a beautiful creature whose life is short to live
Count your blessings it was your garden that it chose
That gave all its beauty of a life soon to be foreclosed
