I TRIED . . .
I tried to capture each rivulet of blood that wept from my heart
In vials I collected and stored so we could never again be apart
Bandages upon bandages all around my failing cut heart bound
But how my heart bled till only a trickle of blood could be found
Then darkness descended as I fell into a broken crumbling heap
I could hear your voice calling as I entered into my endless sleep
Then a light so vivid so colourful so uplifting over me did sweep
My blood then returned from the vials that for me you did keep
My body and soul lifted I am now forever eternally in your grace
As memories we entwined and our footprints in life we did trace
Indiana Shaw . . . -_-
