THAT DARN RED ROBIN . . .

THAT DARN RED ROBIN . . .

That darn red robin - it’s sure no fool
Hopping about - looking like it is cool

Get a camera out then it’s peek a boo
You can’t catch me I am no darn fool

It hides in the bushes - laughing at me
Put your camera down it’s back to see

I thought only sparrows were cheeky
But there is no one cheekier than he

As the darn red robin loves playing me
Loves the attention as plain as can be

Mornings it is all game he loves to play
Then he is off - till the end of the day

I Can see him there looking - just for me
Singing - You can’t catch me I born free

Indiana Shaw . . . ; )
