Poem No. 31 was
the breaker - now for something new . . .
Upping the ante
- with some words I never even knew . . .
My quill now
erectable – lithe – in its lissom deadly pose . . .
My nemesis of
words stands before me eager to oppose . . .
Silently
relinquishing myself fully into the depths of time . . .
Waiting for an
epiphany to then furtively cross my mind . . .
Just a
tintinnabulation - a scintilla – I try and catch the word . . .
They all become
a labyrinth of the things I never even heard . . .
Fugacious –
words then start to imbricate all within the lines . . .
Must have been
lagniappe for the words be given me so kind . . .
Will I show an
eloquence when I beleaguer you with my verse . . .
Or faced with an
untoward ineffable that upon me you curse . . .
It is
quintessential whilst taking this knowledge all on board . . .
Theres “Nowt”
like an inexpressible expression that’s got you flippin’ floored . . .
Even worse to
then hit by words - that just will not fit the line . . .
I need a panacea
elixir - so all can be resolved within the rhyme . . .
Threw panacea in
for “Teppo” – to be up there with the boys . . .
His magical way
with words – I like the way they are all toyed . . .
So I am upping
my ante – with “Teppo” – he will be my guide . . .
Each word I
write – sophisticated – as I go along for the ride . . .
Every essence
captured with the scent of petrichor foretold . . .
Every sentence
caught within a catacomb of crystals & gold . . .
Ah - an Ode to
“Teppo” – we “Lad” are just two worlds apart . . .
Expressing our
expressions - via the words of a different art . . .
"Billowing
of the winds" – would only endeavour me to laugh . . .
Idle ducks
chuckle by me – “Coz” I’ve just farted in the bath . . .
“Eck” the
thought of that – has lost me – time for me to go . . .
Maybe shine off
this old trumpet – it deserves another blow . . .
Take it all as
in good humour - nay “Lad” dinna take offence . . .
Once the pen to
paper comes again I will sorely recompense . . . ; )
Thanks for the
read . . .
Be sure to leave
your comments . . .
But please be
very very kind . . . ; )
